Toffee Squares

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4lb sweet chocolate, melted
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolk and vanilla
Add flour and salt.
Spread on greased cookie sheet
bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
While warm, spread with melted choc. sprinkle nuts. Cut in small squares.
