German Schamm Torte
Ingredients
1 cup egg whites
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Instructions
Beat (egg whites) until stiff, add sugar slowly, add rest of ingredients
put in greased pan or drop by TBS on a cookie sheet
Preheat oven to 500
shut oven OFF put in torte and lat stand overnight.
Serve with whipped cream and sweetened strawberries
Or whipped cream, crushed pineapple, cherries and nuts
