Rhubarb bars
Ingredients
Crust:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Filling:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
2 Tbs. corn starch
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups rhubarb

Instructions
Mix crust ingredients.
Boil: sugar, water, corn starch, vanilla. until clear. Cool.
Pour cooled sauce over rhubarb and top with crumb crust.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
