Cream puffs
Ingredients
Shells:
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 Tbs. sugar
4 eggs
Filling:
1lb butter
1 package vanilla pudding, prepared to instructions.

1 package vanilla pudding, prepared to instructions.
Instructions
Bring water and butter to a boil and quickly add flour and sugar.
Stir until dough forms a round compact ball.
Take off burner, cool and add 4 eggs one after the other. Stir in one egg completely before adding the next.
Grease cookie sheet and flour.
Place small mounds of dough onto sheet with soup spoon.
Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, then change temp to 325 and bake 25 minutes longer.
Remove, slash shells 1/4 from the top to form lids.
Place complete shells into oven for 10 minutes longer. (Without turning oven back on) this will dry out inside of pastry some.
Filling:

cream together with 1lb of butter added by spoonfuls slowly and beat after each addition.
Fill the pastry, sprinkle with powder sugar, refrigerate.
