Mincemeat Brownies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup mincemeat
1 1/2 square unsweetened chocolate (melt and cool)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
confectioners sugar

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar until well blended
Eggs one at a time, beating well after each
stir in next 4 ingredients
then add flour and salt and mix well
add nuts
Spread in buttered 9 inch square pan
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes
Cool in pan on cake rack then cut in 2 1/4 inch squares and roll in confectioners sugar.
