Spetzle (Germany)

noodles for soup
5-6 servings

Ingredients

2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs slightly beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
2 Tbs melted butter

Instructions

sift together flour and salt
add eggs
add milk
press batter through a potato ricer
cook and stir for 5 minutes
Drain
sprinkle with mixture of bread crumbs and melted butter.
