Classic Rum Cake

Ingredients

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
18 1/2 oz box yellow cake mix
4oz package vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup rum

Glaze:
1/4 lb butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup rum

Instructions

Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan
Mix all ingredients together and pour over the nuts.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour in a greased tube pan
Boil glaze ingredients for 5 minutes, add rum last
Prick top, drizzle glaze over the cake
