"Penuche" Brown Sugar Fudge

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbs Karo syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbs. butter

Instructions

Boil sugars and syrup with salt and milk until a soft ball forms when dropped in water
Add vanilla and butter
Beat until dull.

To make fudge: add 1/2 cup cocoa and use 2 cups of white sugar, no brown.
