Carmels
Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup dark Karo
1/2 cup white Karo
1 cup heavy cream
dash of salt
1/4 lb butter
1/2 cup dark Karo

Instructions
Boil hard all ingredients except butter in a large kettle to 250
Take off heat and add butter
pour into a buttered 9 inch square pan.
Let harden, cut into squares
May dip in chocolate, but let carmels get very cold before dipping.
